Initiated by Socialtours, its idea was clear from the very first year; promoting cycling and cycling for cause. So far the event had already raised Rs 5 millions for different charities. This year’s slogan is ‘Medicare On Wheels’ which aims to buy an ambulance for a village in Rasuwa along with another project in Nuwakot to build a school. Organisers receive immense support from everywhere, they have also joined hands with ‘Great Himalaya Trails’ and ‘City Cycle Network Nepal’.

Funds will be raised by pledges made to the cyclists for each kilometre they complete in three different categories of race 50 km, 75km and 100 km.  Its easy to support for the noble cause, just pledge any rider for Rs 100 per each kilometer.

Deadline to register or pledge is July 15 23:59 hrs. So just do it now and here, then get ready for the experience which starts early morning next day at Patan Durbar Square.
