6 Bibeksheel Nepali

One political party that won hearts of millions by noble work in difficult time is Bibeksheel Party. Within 3 weeks they have collected 50,000 kg rice and distributed, collected Rs 12 millions for quake relief, set up or distributed more than 3000 shelters. Their 1500 volunteers and 200+ medical staff are still busy doing relief work. Hats off to Bibeksheel.

Entire world was covering Nepal that helped spread the news; eventually making things easier for international community to help quake survivors.

8 Nepalese Living Abroad

Nepalese living abroad were as devastated as their near and dears ones back home. But they did not only sit quite and mourn but responded immediately with their all heart and effort. Hundreds of nurses, doctors and volunteers rushed to Nepal while others collected millions in cash and necessary stuff to send Nepal. They still keep on supporting in relief funds. Thanks to all the Nepalese associations, NRNAs, Nepalese communities and diaspora who stood by when their motherland needed them most.

9 World Celebrities

Biggest celebrities of the world from Cristiano Ronaldo to Amitabh Bachchan, Mick Jagger to Ellen DeGeneres, Jessica Parker to Madonna everyone was with Nepal in difficult period. They might have not done anything significant directly but their single word meant a lot. They have millions of followers on social media and die-hard fans around the world. Their words reach to all of them which inspire them to do something for victims and survivors.

10 International Community

The world has come together to support Nepal from our neighbouring India, China, Bhutan to UK USA, Israel and who not. They sent all the possible relief materials including search and rescue personnel and medical staff. Similarly, all the big humanitarian and development organizations were working day and night for Nepal from UN agencies to Asian Development, Red Cross, Oxfam, you name it.

11 Nepalese Government

Government of Nepal could have done much better but that does not mean they were just sitting idle doing nothing. All the civil servants, security forces, medical staff, rescue workers were deployed which are governed by the government. Government distributed relief materials, set up many relief camps. Despite all that, it was not enough though.

Last but not the least, Nepalese people were the one who suffered the loss and had to face the real challenges. Despite all the difficulties, they stayed strong, helped each other. From quake victim himself to billionaire everyone was contributing whatever they can. Sukha Dukha ma ek arkako saath.
