Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is aiming higher. It is planning to get two wide body 260-seater aircraft A330-220 in 9 months time which will be followed by two narrow body aircraft in line with government’s two-year immediate action plan. All of those will be Airbus fleets.
The national flag carrier currently holds only 6 percent of Nepal’s international market which flew 206,000 passengers last year. With new aircrafts Nepal Airlines will have eight fleets for international flights which aim to reach target of 18% in 3 years time.
New destinations will be Sydney Australia via Singapore, Tokyo Japan, Shanghai China and Seoul South Korea. Currently NAC has 2 Boeing 757 and 2 recently bought Airbus A320 which cover all of its international flights.
All the best Nepal Airlines! Grow Bigger!!
